At the beginning, it was simply about creating tools I personally wanted to use — plugins made with passion, experimentation and love for sound.
Thanks to the support from the audio community and platforms like Audiofanzine, people started discovering my work, following the project and supporting me along the way.
Since then, SMAOLAB has grown into a large collection of plugins focused on saturation, tube simulation, analog color and creative sound design, alongside Max for Live devices such as M4L The Drummer, M4L HipHop Drummer and many others.
Over the years, the community kept growing, users kept sharing ideas and requesting new features, and this project slowly became something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Today marks 10 years of this “professional” journey, and honestly, none of this would exist without all of you who use, support and share my work.
Thank you for being part of the adventure.
And yes… I’m still going to develop more and more plugins :-)
